Overview

Mouvement Physio is a fictional physiotherapy clinic with two locations. We used it to explore how a local health business can turn search visibility into booked appointments while staying clear, calm and accessible.

The challenge

The brief we set ourselves was typical of local service businesses:

  • Patients search by symptom and neighbourhood, not by clinic name
  • Each location needs its own visibility in map results
  • Booking must be effortless on a phone, often in discomfort
  • Medical content must be accurate, reassuring and free of jargon

Strategy

We organized the site around how patients actually decide:

  • Condition and service pages written in plain language, linked to each other
  • A dedicated page per location with consistent name, address and hours
  • Booking calls to action repeated contextually, never aggressively
  • LocalBusiness and Service structured data aligned with Google Business Profile

Execution

The design system emphasizes legibility and calm:

  • Large type, generous spacing and high-contrast color pairings
  • A sticky mobile booking bar that stays within thumb reach
  • Practitioner and location cards built as reusable components
  • Lightweight pages with optimized imagery for fast mobile loading
Homepage: symptom-led entry points and a clear booking path.
Mobile booking flow with persistent call to action.
Location page with hours, map and local services.
Interface components and color system.
